Attraction based  Internet Marketing is a buzzword on the internet today. While most people attribute Attraction Marketing specifically to Network Marketing, MLM, Direct Marketing industry etc., it is in fact  true of all networking that we do in our day to day lives irrespective of whether we do it for making friends, in our jobs or for our home businesses, both offline or online.

I have read a lot of posts at forums centred around the home business industry on how home business owners are trying to implement Attraction based Internet Marketing to their home business marketing to get better results. Amongst them there are quite a few, who are not fairly sure of how attraction marketing can work. That's why I decided to write this post today covering the truth and insights about attraction based internet marketing and how it can benefit all of us, irrespective of the industry or home business that we are marketing on the internet.

What is Attraction Marketing?

It is a human tendency to be attracted to people that can help us. We all want to be around people who show that they truly care about our well being. And self lessly. People who are self centered are only concerned about themselves & hence are disliked & avoided by all. The same applies when we are marketing our home business opportunity on the internet. If you appear to be only pitching your home business opportunity/ product /services to one and all, people will tend to get averse. Nobody likes to be sold.And this is a universal truth.

In attraction based internet marketing you have to have a giver's attitude. That is you as an home business owner should talk to your target audience in their language. instead of harping on the features of your home business product, you should know what are the pain points of your target audience and give away free valuable information that can genuinely benefit them.

Again dont do this with the ulterior motive of selling your home business offering to him. That will be very obvious and negate the impression / image that you would formed for yourself in the eyes of your audience. When you give, you should not have an attitude of "I gave you this & hence you need to give this back to me". Rest assured, the law of reciprocity will bring it back to you. But take off your focus on what you are going to gain with that giving.

Rather it should be more of what this old age adage says "Give and you shall receive.” In fact whatever you give out to the world is what you will recieve from the world and that too, in multiple propotions.

More over, when you truly adopt the giver's role & start benefiting others with a selfless attitude, you build a bond of trust & friendship with them. This attracts them to you & they feel drawn to you even before having met you, talked to you or communicated to you. They tend to listen to you in what you offer and recommend & follow it with confidence. And that's what you finally want. A loyal customer for life!
